Job Description:

We are opening a new store at Junction 32, Castleford, West Yorkshire.  The store will stock products from across the company’s range of performance outdoor clothing, footwear, rucsacs and accessories.  We are looking for talented, self motivated individuals to join our retail team where technical product knowledge and a passion for the outdoors are essential.

 

Reporting to the Store Manger you will be extremely hands on with a real passion for delivering exceptional customer service.  You will need to have strong ability to supervise a store on a day to day basis and assist the Store Manager.  You must possess strong visual merchandising skills with the ability to lead by example and motivate others. 

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the day to day operation of the store
  • Developing  and motivating the retail team
  • Ensuring weekly rotas are compiled
  • Overseeing all deliveries procedures are carried out effectively
  • Consistent high level of customer service levels
  • All administration is carried accurately meeting agreed deadlines
  • Adhering to Health and Safety guidelines

Manager (Pirate Island Adventure Golf )

Job Description:

Pirate Island Adventure Golf are recruiting for a Manager for their recently opened attraction at Junction 32.  Responsibilities include the day to day operations and management of the attraction including responsibility for ensuring customer expectations are exceeded.  The successful candidate will have control of the profit and loss accounts for the attration and be responsible for business development and profit enhancement.

Main Duties include:

  • Operations management including daily centre audits, cash reconciliation, standards review, maintaining efficient staff rotas, tee time management and control.
  • Develop proactive outreach business development with specific targeting and develop business relationships with other retail units with the Junction 32 Outlet Village.
  • Staff management including recruitment, disciplinary procedures and performance reviews.
  • Health and safety including daily, weekly and monthly audits, maintain fire procedures and training, communicating with staff and clients, meet and greet clients.
  • Maintain, review and implement sales and marketing plans and procedures including POS, internal and external promotions, maximising ancillary spend.
  • Financial reporting including forecasting, cost control, payroll to sales, monthly reports, budgeting and project work.

 

The successful candidate would ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a management role in retail or hospitality industries.
  • Experience of handling sales enquiries and following a clearly defined sales process.
  • The willingness and skill to proactively build relationships with external business and customers.
  • A proactive approach to Health and Safety and previous experience in compliance with regulations.
  • Excellent communication and social media skills/knowledge being IT proficient.
  • The ability to lead a small team in all aspects of operations.
